Google Performance Max
- Google Demand Gen ads should be exported as JPG or PNG files
- Maximum final file size should be under 5120KB or 5MB
- Content needs to be in the center 80% of the image (the safe area that won’t be cut off despite device screen size)
- Use the highest resolution that meets the aspect ratio requirements to keep your ad images from appearing blurry

For your campaign to be successful, Google Performance Max creative should be delivered in all of the following sizes:




YouTube Video Ads
- It is recommended that all videos created for YouTube include background music. Dialogue/VO is optional.
- Preferred Video File Formats: mp4 or .mov
- Video Length: Minimum 6 seconds (:06) to maximum 30 seconds (:30). We have found that 15 second videos work best for the highest viewer engagement.
- Audio Levels: -7db to -8db to prevent distortion.

Social Media Ads
Meta Platforms: Facebook & Instagram
Ads may be delivered as static (single still image), rotating multi-frame GIF, or video format. We recommend using video whenever possible as it is the preferred format for the highest viewer engagement.
- Static ads may be saved in JPG (preferred) or PNG format.
- Use the highest resolution that meets the aspect ratio requirements to keep your ad images from appearing blurry. It is recommended that the maximum file size for static ads be kept below 1MB (1024 kb).
- Meta-platform videos can include live footage with complex animations or be formatted as a multi-frame static image “GIF” slideshow-style video with minimal animation.
- It is recommended that video content created for use on Meta platforms include background music. Dialogue/VO is optional. (Videos are often viewed with the sound turned off on social platforms – make sure your messaging is clear without the need for a voiceover or narrator.)
- Preferred Video File Formats: .mp4 or .mov
- Recommended Video Length for Social: Minimum 6 seconds (:06) to 15 seconds (:15). (Videos lasting 30 seconds (:30) are best reserved for use on OTT or broadcast platforms.)
- Audio Levels: -7db to -8db to prevent



For vertical “stories” ads, we recommend keeping all important information within a prescribed “safe area” to avoid being covered by Meta platform overlays.

Yelp Business Page
- Export as JPG or PNG at 72 dpi.
- Maximum final file size should be under 1MB.
- Use the highest resolution that meets the aspect ratio requirements to keep your ad images from appearing blurry.
- Follow the “safe area” guidelines shown to ensure critical information will not be cropped out in mobile view.
- Logo images will be cropped automatically to a circle for business page placement.
- Yelp portfolio image packages include 4 images and 1 logo to spec.


Google Display Ads
- Static GDN ads must be saved as 72 dpi JPGs and must be delivered at exact size as ready-to-run art – scaling down from a larger file is NOT allowed. For example, a 300×600 digital banner must equal 300×600 in actual dimension and not be sent to us in a larger size like 900×1800 to be scaled down.
- Maximum file size for GDN ads must be kept to under 150 kb. Google will not accept display ads above 150 kb.
- GDN ad sizes can be delivered as GIFs (animated or rotating static frames) up to 30 seconds in length. Animations can be looped but must stop looping after 30 seconds. Do not use “forever” in your loop settings.
- Ads created in animated HTML5 format must be delivered using Google HTML specifications. Maximum zipped folder must be no larger than 150 kb combined when compressed. All images must be local images included in the zip file, not referenced images or linked externally. Files must include the ad name and destination URL. Simpli.Fi Ads
- Static Simpli.Fi ads must be saved as 72 dpi JPGs and must be delivered at the exact size as ready-to-run art – scaling down from a larger file is NOT allowed. For example, a 300×600 digital banner must equal 300×600 in actual dimension and not be sent to us in a larger size like 900×1800 to be scaled down.
- Maximum file size for Simpli.Fi ads must be kept to under 200 kb. Google will not accept display ads above 200 kb.
- Animated Ads – Simpli.fi recommends a maximum of 18 frames per second, and animation length of 30 seconds with no more than two loops. These ads can be run in “in-banner”, pre-roll, and standard video.


Google Local Service Ads (GLSA)
All photos must comply with the general Google Ads policies and Local Service Ads policies. Local Service Ads supports uploading business photos that meet the following guideline:
- Export as JPG or PNG at 72 dpi.
- Resolution must be a minimum size of 640×640 or greater
- Maximum file size should be under 10MB.
- You Must own the copyright for all images
- Image content must be related to your business
- Use the highest resolution that meets the aspect ratio requirements to keep your ad images from appearing blurry.

Connected TV Ads (OTT)
- Static OTT ads must be saved as 72 dpi JPGs and must be delivered at exact size as ready-to-run art – scaling down from a larger file is NOT allowed. For example, a 300×600 digital banner must equal 300×600 in actual dimension and not be sent to us in a larger size like 900×1800 to be scaled down.
- Maximum file size for OTT ads must be kept to under 150 kb.
